A. Position the Booster Vehicle

B. Locate and identify Battery Terminals

Lift and raise the hood of the cars to access the battery, A car battery has two terminals – positive White for the color white as positive (+) and negative Black for the color black as negative (-). 3. Connect and Clamp Jumper Cables

C. Do it!! Jump-Start the Car

Make sure by Double-checking that the connected booster cables aren’t near moving engine parts. Start the engine of the vehicle that’s donating the electricity and you see how it starts.

Then start the car with the weak uncharged battery. If the engine doesn’t turn over right away, you might need to wait a few minutes to allow the battery to build a sufficient charge. Increasing the idle speed of the booster vehicle may help make this happen more quickly and fast.
